Vegan Baked Beans + sugar and gluten free
3 cups cooked pinto beans (or navy beans)
1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce
1 cup of vegetable broth
1 onion finely chopped
3 cloves, finely chopped
1 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1 tablespoon gluten free soy sauce
2 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 bay leaf
few shakes of hot pepper flakes
Add all ingredients to a 1 1/2 quart crockpot on low for 4 hours or cook on a dutch for one hour on stove top.
