Baking can be like Jazz, merging composition and improvisation, fast or slow.

Brownies are one of those recipes that invites us to play, create.

To a basic recipe you can use any flour, fat or toppings. I had some leftover fermented rye meal and went

Sourdough Rye Meal Brownies

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

½ cup of butter

1 cup of sugar (or to taste)

2 large eggs

¼ tsp salt

½ cup of fermented rye meal ( I used Maine Grains)
